Asa
is amazing. I could never explain the process or her techniques - all
I know is - it works. She truly has a gift for healing.

Working
with Asa sent me on a path that changed my life. I did the
homework she gave me, and had a radical healing of stomach ulcers and
fibromyalgia. Both conditions are in complete remission. I have lost
30 pounds and am now able to fulfill my potential, happily...with dignity.
Thank you, Asa! Thank you, Great Spirit!

Asa
is an extraordinary healer. Each session with her has brought me to
a new and heightened level of self awareness. Call Asa if you really
want to grow and move ahead in your life.

Working
with Asa is like receiving a bath in white light and emerging with a
new sense of power and direction. Her gifts as a healer are extraordinary.
Anyone who has the opportunity to work with her will feel an opening
in their body and soul, as her laser like abilities literally clear
the way for a more fulfilling way of being in the world. It has been
my privilege to experience her healings and to recommend her to many
others who cherish her and her gifts as I do.

Thank you again for the insight, wisdom, encouragement, support, and
healing you've shared with me. All of the personal experiences, in depth
training and hard work that went into developing your abilities is apparent.
You bring a rare precision and a tremendous passion to your work. I'm
very grateful for the grace that had our paths cross at this time in
my life.

The
information I received from my sessions with Asa have completely shifted
many things in my life. Many blocks have been removed and much lightness
brought in. I am in awe of her skill.

My
experiences with Asa's work have varied considerably. One of the things
I admire so much is Asa's ability to pull all of the seemingly unassociated
pieces of free floating thoughts, fears, anxieties and confusions into
a focused thought! From there we are more easily able to address the
underlying concern. I have seen Asa for a number of different concerns
and am always amazed at how easily she knits and weaves her way through
the muck to uncover the gifts I have.
Then,
of course, it's my job to nurture and grow these gifts. I so appreciate
all the work I have done with Asa and expect to do more as life presents
its hidden mysteries for me to
embrace!

FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS
Q.
So what is a shaman anyway?
A.
The word shaman (SHAH-man) is from the Tungas people of Siberia and
has become a generic term used to refer to people who have been trained
in the art of entering altered states of consciousness to acquire
information on behalf of another person or a community.
Q.
What is the purpose of a shamanic healing session?
A.
Our definitions of ourselves and how we view the world are created
by external influences, family, religion, culture, ethnic group, etc.
Shamanic
healing helps the client to step back from the story of their life
and identify the patterns that keep them stuck in beliefs and behaviors
that no longer work for them. The healing is actually done as a ceremony
where the client is released from their attachments to
their past. This allows them to have a new perspetive of themselves
and their lives which in turn gives them to opportunity to make healthier,
more empowered choices.
Q.
What happens in a session?
A.
There are actually four basic parts to a session.
1)
A session begins with a phone conversation, an introductory call,
to find out if what I do is appropriate for the client and to determine
if we are comfortable working together. (There is no charge for the
intoductory call).
2) If we are in agreement, a second appointment is made to explore
the issue more deeply. From a series of questions and answers I am
able to determine the pattern of dysfunction and how it is playing
out
in the client's life.
3) Once we agree on the issue I do the actual healing ceremony, working
with the energy body, which is accessed through the chakra system.
There are several techniques that may be used in the ceremony, depending
on the client and the issue we are addressing.
4)
When the healing ceremony is complete, we discuss what it revealed
and how things have shifted. The client is also given homework, a
small personal ceremony to perform at home.
Q.
How do I choose a shamanic practitioner?
A.
If you have the name of someone, talk to them first. Pay attention
to how you feel as you talk with them. Ask who they studied with and
for how long - this is not something you can learn in a one week workshop.
Trust is very important in this work so if someone doesnt feel
right, keep looking. In indigenous cultures a person has to demonstrate
their ability to hold sacred space and facilitate change before they
are recognized as a medicine person, so it is appropriate to ask for
references if that will make you feel more comfortable.
Q.
How is it possible to do the session long distance?
A.
Because shamanic healing takes place in an altered state of consciousness
it happens outside the confines of the physical world, therefore the
physical body doesnt need to be present for most kinds of work.
However, there are some situations where it is preferable to have
the person physically present during the session.
Q.
Why do you say this work is not appropriate during pregnancy?
A
For a couple of reasons. First of all when a woman is pregnant there
is another spirit present whose permission is needed to do the session,
but it is also because this type of work can create a significant
shift in the bodys energy field which might create problems
during pregnancy.
Q.
What do you mean whose permission is needed?
A.
A practitioner should not work on someone without their permission.
To do so lacks integrity. This includes the child in the womb.
Q.
How would I know if I need a shamanic healing session?
A.
The questions I might ask include:
Do you feel stuck in some aspect of your life?
Did you experience abuse as a child?
Do you experience depression, low self esteem?
Have you been you traumatized in some way?
Do you find yourself in a pattern of behavior that you cant
seem to move out of?
These
are a few of the reasons you might seek shamanic healing.
Please
feel free to contact me if you have other questions regarding the shamanic
healing process.
